Art Director (Performance Marketing)

King & Partners is looking for an Art Director focused on delivering original and effective advertising and marketing creative for paid social campaigns, email, organic social and display banners.
The right candidate must have passion for beautiful creative work that drives action and generates tangible results.
The Art Director should also be a clear communicator, organized, obsessed with details and able to manage their time when working across multiple projects and deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

— Collaborate with experienced creative leads to execute beautiful and functional visuals across brand and digital touchpoints
— Partner with account management, strategy, copywriting, and developers to ensure project deliverables and deadlines meet and/or exceed client expectations
— Provide multiple design solutions in response to assigned client briefs
— Present work to the creative and project teams – making sure to bring a strong design point of view into the conversation
— Ensure project deliverables adheres to brand standards
— A strong passion for using original ideas to build audience
— A solid foundation in layout, typography and art direction
— Ability to concept, storyboard and oversee production of content
— Ability to understand a brand’s positioning and visual guidelines and apply them in the most engaging way
— Deep understanding of creative needs, formats, and specs for all social platforms
— Proven experience delivering paid social ads that drive performance
— Understanding of KPIs such as click-through rate, open rate, conversion rate, etc
— Ideas for ad variations, formats and testing opportunities
— Excellent organization and communication skills, ability to multi-task
— Fluency in design, editing and animation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, After Effects

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

— 4+ years of experience working in digital and branding design, ideally within a creative, digital and brand-focused agency.
— A solid foundation in layout, drawing, colors, typography and art direction.
— Ability to come up with creative solutions that fully align with client’s needs.
— Working ability to translate brand strategy into beautiful brand identities, collateral and websites.
— Demonstrated history of creating original ideas that pushes brands further.
— Ability to present concepts to internal teams, non-designers and clients.

COMPENSATION

The compensation range for this position is between $70,000 – $130,000. The salary will commensurate with the candidate’s overall work experience.
