As an SEO Manager at King & Partners, you will work closely with our SEO lead. You will assist in developing and implementing holistic SEO strategies to improve organic visibility for our clients.
You should have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, marketing funnels, UX, and CRO best practices. A perfect candidate will be able to adjust to a high-paced work environment and switch focus promptly based on our clients’ needs while following through with their ongoing tasks and goals. You should be able to create SEO strategies and execute on them independently.
— Advising on digital best practices for SEO performance and growth
— Managing client SEO accounts independently: handle all communication with the client and internal teams to execute on the roadmap items
— Monitoring client website performance and pivot the SEO strategy if necessary to maintain upward trends
— Leading and executing on client SEO strategy via keywords research, content optimization, metadata writing, site health monitoring, technical SEO implementations, etc.
— Assisting in strategizing and implementing for new client site builds and migrations: redirect mapping, sitemap and URL structure optimization, etc.
— Utilizing SEO reporting tools and web analytics to monitor and evaluate SEO performance across major search channels to improve visibility, rankings, and track KPIs
— Defining and building keyword lists using a mix of proprietary tools, analytics data, and PPC data
— Identifying new areas of opportunity across clients’ sites and strategic updates of existing content based on keyword analysis and research, to increase search traffic and page rankings
— Reporting on SEO strategy and content on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and provide best practice recommendations to foster growth, strategy, and content development
— 3-5 years of experience in audience development, marketing, or related role with an understanding of audience development strategies
— 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role with direct client communication and strategy oversight
— Experience implementing SEO and audience development strategy with positive results (must provide examples and be able to discuss during interveiw)
— Experience with SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console; Screaming Frog is preferred
— Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Keynote and Asana is a plus
— Agency experience is a plus

The compensation range for this position is between $80,000 – $120,000. The salary will commensurate with the candidate’s overall work experience.

Along with your resume, we ask that you supplement the following work samples as part of the interview process:
1) Example websites you performed SEO for (technical: site architecture, URL structure, schema markup, technical health monitoring, international markup, etc; on-site: metadata, on-page copy optimization, internal linking). You should be prepared to discuss during the 1st round which aspects of SEO on the example site you worked on and your logic.
2) Example of a full SEO audit. You should also be ready to discuss this as well with the hiring manager and team. (If you are unable to present your actual work examples due to an NDA, you also have the option to pick any website, perform an audit and create an SEO strategy/roadmap to discuss during the interview. This will need to be shared with us prior to the first round interview.)
