There are three birds at the center of the ancient Hawaiian celestial navigation story. The Noio, ’I’iwi, and Manu O Ku were all essential to the journey of the first Polynesians that discovered the Hawaiian islands. They played a key role in identifying how far navigators were from land during the day, when stars were not visible. Because of this they have also become symbols of good fortune and good news.

Just as these three birds once guided ancient Hawaiian navigators, they now guide modern travelers to a dining offering like no other at Four Seasons Hualalai. As exclusive and coveted as a new land.
