The Inn at Perry Cabin is a resort rooted in American history, a luxury getaway on the shore of St. Michaels, Maryland. The owner purchased two nearby properties, which are being developed into a world-class golf course designed by the legendary Pete Dye, accompanied by a new hotel. We came up with a brand strategy that could scale across multiple properties over time. The result is Perry Cabin Resorts, a timeless collection encompassing two hotels and a golf club.
First, we determined the positioning of the three properties in relation to one another.
Then, we created naming and branding for the two new properties. The challenge was to develop extensions into an existing, established brand that felt consistent yet fresh.
The next stage was all about storytelling, and what better way to convey the guest experience than with film and photography. We shot hours of film, and took dozens of photographs that show what a beautiful place St Michaels is and what a great time can be had at The Inn at Perry Cabin.
Due to the long-term nature of the development, our engagement is multi-phased to build awareness up to the various launches.
